This is the worst driver I have ever encountered. Pick up was done at the airport where the driver did nothing to assist in the moving of luggage to the boot of his car. In addition to this, his boot was half-filled with random things that made it really hard to squeeze the lugguage in. The driver not only did not help at all with the lugguage, he made comments such as why dont you help with the lugguage while only using his eye power. The driver’s name is Ho Swee Jon and he drove a yellow top cab. Ridiculous driver with a bad attitude..

The way the driver was driving can send me vomiting. His braking is so constant that throughout the journey it can be at over 100 times he step on the brake pedal. Sitting behind I kept jerking forward every 2-3 seconds. Especially on CTE where there was a slight jam, he brakes so often that really made me feel sick. I noticed that he was dozing off which is so dangerous endangering my life as well as his. His car kept swerving left which is out of the lane. Driving in the middle of the two lanes, fortunately there was no car coming from behind. This is the most horrifying ride I have ever had. Please review this driver.

Driver was unhappy to hear we were travelling from Changi Airport to only Bedok South Road. His first statement was “you better have small change, don’t give me $50!”. Then he was speeding at least 100km/hr. When we gave him directions to our destination, he made no acknowledgement, not to mention “thanks”. Overall it was a bad experience for us. Such poor service and bad attitude should be corrected.

Picked up at the Marina Mandarin, Raffles Boulevard we requested to go to Raffles Hotel. The hotel concierge gave the instruction to the driver, which we repeated when we got in the car. We were then taken round, across the river and dumped at 1 Raffles Place. On query that this was not Raffles Hotel the driver waved his hand saying “through there, through there” and charged us $12 even though his meter said $6.35. He then cleared off, leaving us nowhere near where we wanted to be.

My driver was extremely rude to me when I tried to tell him I was using the comfortdelgro app street hail feature to pay. He did not explain to me that he was unable to accept it. He was impatient. Shouted at me. And was very very rude. Disappointed and I will definitely think twice about hailing a cab in the future.

I board this taxi at Changi Airport T1 queue on Wednesday morning at 00:05 hours and was overwhelmed by the residual cigarette. We had to inhale what was the remains of the smoke in the cab. It was so bad that I had to ask the driver to open the windows THROUGH-OUT the journey to get fresh air. My wife had to hold a tissue to her nose and our eyes became watery.

I was with my wife heading to commission of Malaysia located at around Newton I guess.. So I got up this taxi at Yishun MRT station, when we got up we told him the address and first he started driving but guess what, on the way he was actually unhappy based on the attitude he gave me, he told me that the place I’m going was very far from here why don’t I take the train instead and he continue to rant on, and said that “you see it’s so far I have to drive you over there and come back to Yishun again” as he is changing shift.
Firstly, the roof he put was in green colour so I didn’t know that he was changjng shift. Secondly, he could have change the roof to only Yishun or some specific place that is convenient for him so that people can take note. Thirdly, he could have ask where am I going first before he confirm with me that I can get up the vehicle but he did not do all these step so I assumed that he could go anywhere else, so why did he has to start ranting when we were on the way to my destination and showed his unhappiness, he still demanded that next time round I should take train to the place and then take taxi from there so that easy for other taxi driver who is changing shift and not making trouble for them like this, he also said that “you see it’s because I’m changing shift so I have to go there and come back here again which is very troublesome”.
So my question is, why was he ranting so much when he agreed to pick me up at first? And also if the place is that near, why do I even have to take a taxi? His attitude is really horrible, I didn’t expect a cab driver from SMRT to act this way. It’s disappointing I hope you guys can do something about this and give me an answer and what’s more is that my wife just gave birth so of course I can’t let her walk too much. So that’s why taxi is the best choice, nothing wrong with that right, but the attitude is really horrible.

I was trying unsuccessfully for 45 minutes to book a taxi to get to the airport beginning at 11.00 a.m. In desperation I started to run over to taxis dropping off passengers near my location and the only driver who decided to help me was Mr. Lim of SHC 0812, a white Mercedes Limo cab. He told me that the look of desperation and panic on my face alerted him that I was about to miss my flight if I didn’t get a taxi immediately. My luggage was next to me and he had seen it. After he had dropped off his passenger, he turned around to come shuttle me to Changi Airport. Mr. Lim told me that he had to inform his company that he had to turn down his next booking which was at Wellington Circle, Block 509C. He had never done anything like that before and was concerned that he might get into trouble with the company.
It is for this reason I am writing to you not to chastise him but to applaud him for being compassionate and making the correct decision in an emergency. He has elevated the quality service reputation of your company and should be duly rewarded. Thank you for being understanding.

My trip is on 9 december 10am from Marina Mandarin Hotel to Airport Terminal 4. 2 minutes in the car made me vertigo. He kept moving the steering wheel right and left, like rocking a baby. I think he has health issue. Maybe your company has to evaluate the driver’s license.
