Under GrabTaxi, app users could access the Standard Taxi option, which promises an efficient transfer to your selected destination at a metered fare. The seamless experience of hailing a taxi the ‘Grab way’ allows you to key in your pick-up and drop-off locations to obtain an estimated fare before booking – thus avoiding uncertainty in terms of metered rates – after which Grab will find you the nearest taxi driver. Your driver’s location and arrival time will be displayed on the app in real time. The effortless and smooth booking easily adds convenience to an already hectic day in the city! 

In-app messaging and phone call functions also ensure a communication platform is available between you and your designated driver. As per Grab policy, the GrabTaxi drivers will wait up to five (5) minutes at the pick-up location and additional waiting charges may vary according to taxi companies. Should you choose to cancel your ride after five minutes of booking, a S$4 surcharge will apply.
