Do take note that only taxis with special licenses can operate across the borders of Singapore and Malaysia. Singaporean taxis are only allowed to drop you off at Johor Bahru Taxi Terminal at Pasar Bakti Kotaraya. From there, you can take another taxi to take you to the airport, or to the train station, or directly to Kuala Lumpur.
The advantage of taking a taxi to Johor Bahru is that custom checks become more convenient. You can stay in the car, while the taxi driver takes charge of everything. It’s much easier than when taking the bus because you have to get out of the bus, go through the customs check, and back in the bus. So, again, if money is not an issue, a taxi ride may be a good consideration.

A High-Speed Rail (HSR) train that will make traveling from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur in 90 mins has been postponed indefinitely.
The Express Service, which links Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, was originally targeted to commence by Dec 31, 2026.
