The Maxi Cab offers more than just the atypical ride to our passengers. With the Maxi Cab RAMP, a wheelchair-accessible, door-to-door transport service in Singapore which features a loading space of 2.0 meter (length) x 1.0 meter (width) x 1.0 meter (height), wheelchair-bound passengers can travel with ease to their destinations.

The Maxi Cab RAMP also provides wheelchair ramps to safely facilitate the wheelchair passengers into and out of the vehicle.

Worried about the size of the wheelchair? As wheelchairs do come in a variety of sizes, our driver will use different doors of the Maxi Cab to ensure a hassle-free wheelchair transfer. For wheelchairs which are larger in size, our driver will push the passenger through the side door of the vehicle and through the back door for a smaller-sized wheelchair.

In order to avoid injury, Maxi Cab RAMP also uses the ‘Wheel Lock’ safety feature to prevent the wheelchair from moving in the vehicle during the transfer.

For a normal wheelchair, the user will be seated at the back row in a front-facing manner, while electric wheelchair users will enter the cab through the side door and thus will be seated near the cab’s window screen.

The Maxi Cab also provides wheelchair service for current and immediate transfers within at least 3 hours of advance booking. Customers are advised to wait for our driver’s arrival for 15 to 20 minutes depending on our driver’s current location.

In order to provide a burden-free service for the handicapped, the provision of the wheelchair ramp by the Maxi Cab is free of charge and no additional charges will be imposed. Passengers may pay cash to the driver at a fixed rate of S$ 55.00 per trip or by Credit Card with a charge of 10% admin fee and 7% of GST. Passengers may also opt to pay by NETS with a $0.30 charge.
