GrabShuttle

Shuffling around the city is difficult when public transport could never guarantee an empty seat for the tired working crowd and taxis are too expensive for the average daily budget. 

GrabShuttle alleviates the stress of having to get around the Singapore cityscape in crowded public transportation by offering app users the chance to get to their destinations in an affordable, clean, comfortable and sit-down environment! 

A new service introduced by Grab that allows passengers to pre-book a bus seat from a list of fixed routes, the shuttle service is available via the GrabShuttle app, which is separate from the principal Grab ride-hailing application. Select your desired route and make a booking for a GrabShuttle ride at a fixed fare averaging S$3.50-S$5 per trip! The buses that operate under GrabShuttle come in public minivans, 23- and 40-seater coaches. 

You can also schedule a trip up to a month in advance by simply entering the booking date and time – but booking windows are subject to variation by routes selected. Generally, the window closes 5 minutes before the start of each route. Payment can be made via any Singapore-issued credit or debit card for the convenience of app users, and upon confirmation of the booking, passengers will receive an in-app E-ticket which reflects the vehicle number. 

The GrabShuttle has been discontinued effective from 1st January 2020, with 31st December 2019 being the last day of service.
