Call service: A friendly operator always picked up within the first few rings. Cabs were confirmed within three minutes, except once when I waited for five minutes.

The pleasant lounge music they played while I was on hold made waiting less tedious, thank goodness they didn't play Abba on repeat.

On the plus side, the operator asked for my name the first time I called, and I was readily identified in subsequent calls.

Punctuality: The cabs all arrived within five minutes as promised.

I was almost always among the first two to reach my destination - ace!

For a pick-up at the Alliance Francaise in Sarkies Road, the cab driver even called me to double-check the destination.

Verdict: This company scores big for tip-top customer service. Operators and drivers are always friendly and personable.

The drivers greeted me cheerfully by name and called to update me on where they were and how much longer they were going to be. Darn, it's a secret I don't want to share.
